The hat continues to marinate but may well be eaten!

Greetings All,

This is the opening salvo from the official www.radiolemans.com and ‘Midweek Motorsport’ blog. If anyone has stumbled across this site and is baffled by the name, read on.

Very simply, the entire crew at Midweek Motorsport were hugely dubious about the chances of the USF1, no US GPE, no, hang on, USF1 team ever making it to the track. Initially it did seem like the whole project was like a scene out of an excrutiatingly bad high school musical production of ‘F1 or Bust: The Opera’. It really had an air of ‘hey! lets put the show on right here!’ about it. The admission that the founders had been meeting in Starbucks only added to the general feeling that Peter Windsor & Ken Anderson were really just having a laugh at our expense.

Well seemingly the joke is on us. The car will be ready by November and will test over the winter. This would suggest that the enormous promotional sombrero currently soaking in a about three gallons of balsamic vinaigrette will be consumed, live on air, sometime in March 2010.

Enjoy the blog and I’m calling the brim!

USF1. USGPE. Back to USF1… does Bernardo own a graphic design firm (& mandates all new teams to use it) ??? :) :) Where has the design of the car been completed? Surly not in America (Charlotte or Indianapolis).

I think USF1/GPE will use the Lola or some existing design to launch with. JMO
